Playing a hard-nosed brand of defence from day one, the often undersized Blue Devils repeatedly frustrated opponents as they went through their season without losing a single game in the Atom Girls' division. Their coaches were very impressed with how quickly the girls absorbed the principles of playing tough defence. They never backed down, especially once they learned that a defender had rights to space on the court too! The coaches wish to acknowledge the hard work and bright smiles the girls have shown both on and off the court all season long. Great work Blue Devils! Your parents and coaches are proud of you!

March 19, 2012 - The Reapers
Congratulations Reapers on an incredible season! Coach Kevin and I couldn’t be more proud. The Reapers played the entire winter the same way they finished, as a team. All 10 of our young men contributed to every single game, if not shift. They played the game the way it should be played; hard but clean & were always respectful of their opponents & the officials. Both Kevin & I enjoyed our time with the boys both at practice & the games as they know how to mix fun & work & still include the “old guys” in their jokes. Hopefully everyone will return for another season next fall/winter & we will get the chance to “work” together again! The Reapers completed their season on a winning note with a perfect 6-0 record in the Year End Tournament. They managed to beat out the Nepean Blue Devils, who were on a 10 game winning streak, and took home the gold. A special shout out to Imran who played his first year of basketball with us this season. Imran scored his first basket of the year in the gold medal game & it was a 3 pointer to boot! The cheering on the floor, on the bench and from the stands was incredible! Way to go Reapers! Introducing our team and in no specific order, we have:
James – Wing – “The Glue (that binds)” - Outside sniper & co-team leader.
Brock – Post – “Crash” – co-team leader & afraid of no man, or wall, or floor....!!! :)
Brad – Post – “The Force” Unbeatable at either end of the court.
Brayden – Point Guard – “The Magician” - The master of razzle dazzle.
Imran – Wing – “The Rookie 1” - A real pest to opponents & the man with the golden “3” in the final.
Riley – Post – “The Janitor” – cleans up whatever messes are made by his line mates.
Colin – Point Guard – “The Jack of all trades” Starts the play, scores from all over & first back on defense!
Mitchell – Post – “The Rookie 2” – plays like a veteran at both ends of the court.
Austin – Wing – “The Roadrunner” – speed that enables him to play both ends almost simultaneously.
Robin - Wing – “The Bomber” – Delivers a 3 pointer on demand!
