Gold Medal for
Major Midget Boys

Trilot’s Tournament in Sherbrooke, Quebec on the weekend
of November 7th and 8th. With only 4 returning boys and
8 new players on the team, coaches Tom Hodge and John
Scobie were not sure what to expect from their team
early this season.

an amazing strong team effort defensively holding the
opposition teams to an average of fewer than 25 points per
game while scoring just over 60 points per game. In their
first game Saturday afternoon, the team was lead by a
strong offensive showing from Philip Dapaah (18) and
rookie Sorush Rokui (14) and Jason Bekkedam (10), to lead
Goulbourn to victory over La Frontaliere 79-32. With a
smothering defense lead by Paul Lepage and Dalton King and
the offensive output of rookie Michael Shoverller (14),

game.

and ball handling play from rookies Gibril Bakai,
