TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

1. train or arrange for the training of all recreational league coaches
2. arrange for advanced training and certification for competitive league coaches
3. maintain regular communications with the GBA executive and member coaches
4. conduct on-going clinics for GBA coaches at all levels
5. participate where required in coach selections for the competitive program
6. make recommendations to the Executive pertaining to player and program development
7. attend and participate as an advisor to the GBA Executive

The ideal candidate will have a recent level 2 certification (level 3 is preferred), a thorough knowledge of the LTAD model, conversant with offensive principles consistent with Basketball Canada's conceptual offence and at least 10 years of club and /or high school coaching experience. This position comes with an honorarium.
